I think I like you because you use weather that is an act of god. Us weather types just look at weather as, well, weather.
If a good storm is brewing I will post it here and you can interpret the social implications.
Winter Storm Warnings likely in central and Northern Rockies next 72 hours.
NW jet will dig SW into the central Rockies next 72 Hours. Surface high will move off the East Coast and broad Low pressure will develop in the southern plains. Upper level cold air will enhance cyclogeneses over central Rockies.
With this in mind, Heavy Snow Warnings likely 108-120 hours mountains of Northern Utah, Colorado and Wyoming. Surface storm will move northeast resulting in Heavy Snow of 1-3 ft in higher elevations above 3000 ft. Rain will change to snow in the high plains.
Temperatures will drop into the teens with winds 20-30 mph in the Rockies. Temperatures in the upper 20’s and low 30’s with NNE winds 25-35 mph western Nebraska south Dakota
Precip will end as Heavy wet snow across Minnesota and UP of Michigan. Temps in the mid 30’s and wind NNW 20 -30 MPH
