sol 68 RAC 3D of scoop press and scrape on trench far wall:

I couldn't get imagej to work on the 10 year old Windows 98 SE machine available to me, so this StereoPhoto Maker version will have to do.

The subsurface pressure wave seems to have "reflected" and pushed out the wall to left of the press -- although it may bave been pulled forward when the scoop was retracted.

I can't figure out where all the "extra" soil came from in the bottom of the trench.

Did the scoop push back the wall and then take a "bite" of it?

What was the objective of this sequence? A study of the layers in the soil?

Of course, I see lots of interesting "thingies" in the excavated soil -- but that just means my holiday is not over yet.
