Whenever I post to the open forum the post ends up on the Mars rover blog should that be happening ?

Yes.
The Mars Rover Blog is the entire website. Any new topic made anywhere in the forum pops up in the headline area (accept from "against the mainstream")

Ok thanks Richard I will keep that in mind I have only recently stopped using the old forum which listed everything .
