Fram Time

I have made to Fram Crater, take a look. It's not bad, but I am really looking forward to Endurance Crater just 250 meters away. It just looks more interesting to me, don't you agree?

yes i so totally agree with you. endurance color photo front a long distance view point. those dark brown walls. oh i shudder what to think it inside....

then again it could be a disapointment like eagle crater, that was eagle right?

try to find a dried up pond and see what it looks like. to me this resembles a dried pond. the characteristics are similiar.

Sorry about the disruption in your thread with my first reply here.
I believe this looks like a seasonal pond. It seems it has several "levels" that it has been filled to in the past.The ripples in the sand at the bottom do not look like sand that has been patterned by the wind.

amazing! what a great site! and yes the crater on the picture looks like a real dried pond. in fact, i can recall many dried ponds here in Bulgaria which look exactly like this...
