Hi-res images of Endeavour have just been released and what an array of geological data.
A brief look shows ;
Craters of all ages
Small VC cousins w/serrated edges
Buried craters
Exhumed craters
Lake bed? shorelines both in and outside of Endeavour
Exposed bedrock (possible basalt) in high interior scarp of Endeavour
Widespread flat Meridiani lake? beds in bottom of Endeavour
Tilted Meridiani beds on outside of Endeavour rim
Abundant linear fractures
Very large dunes in bottom of Endeavour
Possible mud or other type flows outside of Endeavour rim
Dendritic drainage patterns( downgradient) outside of crater rim suggesting stream ? flow.
