I just read some other threads where "Fred" left his posts. I agree. Fred = Darwin reincarnated. Although I appreciate his views, I dislike his rude spamming behaviour. If Fred behaves the same as Darwin, Fred should be banned as well IMHO.

Agreed completely. Fred = Darwin. Possibly a number of other pseudonyms as well. The moderator may not be able to do much since he could have changed his IP address or be using an internet cafe. Unless participants have a handle and an allocated password registered, using a valid email address for the password to be sent then there is no control possible.

The only person who encouraged Darwin while he drove contributers from the forum was Henry, which is probably why on another thread 'Fred' keeps calling for him - not that Henry is not missed by ohers including myself.

I can smell the booze from here.

Things have got better here it became a war zone with Darwin it would be a shame to go back there.

Now there are a lot of people that liked Darwin. A lot of what he said made sense. Is it such a curiosity that lurkers listened to what he said.

A war zone is always there between mainstream and free thought. You guys did not tell him he was crazy while he was here.

At least zoost read the post on UMSF. Dang good post I thought. Do not think every one is Darwin, but he did make a lot of post here.

Now, Scientist have all points of view. The truth is you can not have polar sublimation as the only water source on Mars and Sublimation cut off a few cm’s below the surface at the Phoenix site.

Now I was just re-reading the post above. Yes Henry was a Darwin fan. Now he is gone and yes everyone misses him. Why? Could it be even though we do no agree we still respect our adversaries.

Hort banned Darwin but he uses his images and has never spoke bad of him. Why? You would think he would bash him.

This voyage we are on is a fact finding mission. Even cyber entities get close. Rudeness is a perception, Were does it end? If someone does not agree and I was rude in a politely incorrect way and inflame some one, is that different from someone just saying how it is?

Sometimes we let the politics of the world cloud our thought process. He did. You guys tossed him aside like yesterdays garbage.

Sometimes people connect and understand each other. Henry was a better man than me as are most of you, But do not dare to apply science with common sense. To cut someone off without explanation is just rude.

Who among us has never did anything wrong? Who has not ever got caught up in the moment? Bloggs do form relationships. Avatars do get close.

You say Darwin ran off a lot of contributors, but it is still the same crowd. A few newbies, but the same crowd.

Just one more thing. When Hort got mad at Darwin for perceived spamming of his thread and left, who called Hort back. Now Henry may not of liked it, but Darwin called Hort back.

Sometimes people see things in the images and want to post. Some people are not so versed in political correctness that we see the egos of the posters.

Did he understand the politics of Mars before anyone else?

Hort gives eyes to us all. Mars imaging is pre 1976 in my opinion. Why do they make it so hard. Will we fight among ourselves? I think so. This mission was harder for Hort than the last, why?

Should not it get better with time?
