I can't post to the thread "A volcanic crater in Meridiani, Mars" in the Open Mars Forum.
I keep getting the error message:

"Precondition Failed
The precondition on the request for the URL /cgi-bin/mt/reply.fcgi evaluated to false."

I am able to post to other threads. Any idea what the problem is?

Even when I attempt to solve this by activating the Type Key account ID I can't seem to eliminate the absurd concept of partial access on this blog sometimes. I can certainly sympathize with you about this. I logged on to Type Key just a day ago and found I did not have the two week re-activation that was promised. No icon beside my name again. I am sure the problem lies outside your control and mine. The filters involved may be smoothed out someday by MRB operators, but it is the underhanded offenders of the access group who have made life detailed for us, I believe. Too many phony names and too much noise in the mix.
Good luck.

Robert, that error means that something in you message triggered one of the spam filters, which are designed to block advertising messages. Very rarey, legit messages are blocked. If you email me the text of your intended post to that thread (send to mark at marsroverblog dot com), I can review the filter rules to see if an adjustment is in order. Also, when you post as "trusted poster" (when you are greeted by name: "Welcome, Robert Clark" you are exempt from the filters).

Robert, I found it in the error log. I have disabled a rule that may have been too strict. Please try your post again.
