All the JPG's you could want John...

http://pds-geosciences.wustl.edu/geodata/mex-m-hrsc-3-rdr-v1/mexhrsc_0001/browse/

I assume next you will be moaning that it's not thumbnailed, on a DVD and posted to you directly.

PHil - you tried doing any colour work with it -it is EVIL...like the nuances of using MOC-WA imagery, but worse..and 3 instead of 2.

Bloody Moaning! If the Mars Express site is so great, why do you hang onto the MERs so tightly? Why not focus on a Mars Express BLOG? Wait...are there any?? I think your constant interaction with Raptor Witness and others who defend the indefensible has affected your equilibrium. You can put lipstick on a pig but it is still a pig. The Mars Express site sucks bigtime and so does the ESA management. OK, now fire back to me some inane comment.

It's a shame Americans are so bloody ignorant and have such short memories.

Whilst the ESA is doing a poor job at releasing data, it's no worse that vitually every other NASA mission prior to the MERs

"Cheese eating surrender monkeys"

Yanks eat cheese, and Britain and Germany didn't surrender to anyone, and they are contributing members of the ESA. In fact, what makes you think the US army is so great? They only entered WW1 when it was all over, and only WW2 when Germany DECLARED WAR ON THEM! And in a straight fight, the Verhmacht would have wiped the floor with the piss poor Yank army.

So, I suppose you Americans are Cheese eating cowards, who only entered a major war with a 3rd world country (Vietnam) and then lost.

Grow up

Well, OK Germany did surrender in 2 World Wars, but only once the country was completely smashed, and fighting on would have resulted in total anihilation, and not just because they didn't want to fight as implied in the phrase "Cheese eating surrender monkeys".

Jesus, that idiot Roosevelt, didn't even break off diplomatic relations with Germany even after they sank 2 Yank destroyers in the Atlantic within the space of a few days.

Hey guys - all that happened 60 years ago!

Ok, don't spill your cocoa - I guess it's still relevant to the decrepit and superannuated, but not very relevant to most people opn this forum, the current Mars missions, and more than a little bit retrograde and parochial.

How about we put some US SEALs against some European special forces for a laugh!?

The British SAS that train the SEALs would have a real good laugh.........

And we're not even going to include Delta Farce!

Err, I was refering to the French, who are without a doubt cheese eating surrender monkeys, and also guilty of a long history academic snobery. And my remarks werer really aimed at a dysfunctional scientific community, where people refuse to publish findings for fear of someone stealing the credit. The scientific credit is more important that the science itself.

As much as JPL annoys me, you must admit that the are more than open with their data. This blog would not exist to whine about what JPL ignores if they didn't make everything public as soon as they get it.

Make all the comments you want about the US army or roosevlet, that is not what I was talking about nor is it what this blog is about, it is about science.

well, rlewis!

Next time you want to call Europeans 'Chesse eating surrender Monkies' you take a flight over with the next bunch of SEAL chumps to the British special forces schools at Hereford and come out on a 'show the Yanks how shit they are' patrol in the Brecon Beacons.....

I'll kick your fucking stupidly white, artifical Ynak teeth in...........

Everything about the last few replies in this thread are off topic , childish and in some instances plain rude.
