Hi again,
Am still trying hard to render something visually reasonable from the Huygens' shots and have made a little bit of progress. New shots attempt to bring out some details I think ESA's surface shots totally miss. Still though, a long ways to go methinks...

Hi, me again still pottering around...
Anyways, just rejinked some HRI landing shots in an attempt to extract something intelligible. For what it's worth, I think the suggested black ooze of the bottom frame is nothing more than lighting variances across the image affecting exposure.

Ciao Alex!
I appreciate alot your attempts to get something intelligible from HUIGHENS titan shots! Many thanks to share!
I do also did something like you some last year. I dunno if you've get it, but I found some images sent from the probe once landed, that I found interesting.
I named that animated gif "frogs on titan"
I did the animated gif, because the "thing" MOVED on the Titan's surface while the shots where made.
If you are interested, I'll like to contribute a little at the "shots collection" you have.
You can still find something in this old thread:
here
feel free to copy it if you like!

Hi guys,
Sorry for lack of response but have been trying my best to make something of the huygens pictures and have almost devised good process script which make picture more intelligible, so awill updating with lots of new pics and maybe vids soon, and mann/mario59 it definately isn't an artifact - I think some peoples' wildest dreams are about to come true...
If you look at my sight have made some improvements but really good stuff will take just a bit longer - http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/alexiton/index.htm |

Howdy,
for what it's worth, added a movie to my site:

Also, cleaned up some of the pictures, but still a long ways to goes ie. neurotically awaiting PDS release of DISR data...

Hi,
Forgive my delusions but found some features in this surface shot I just bashed together interesting:

Personally I can't help feeling there's something stupendous about Titan for a multitude of reasons. Hopefully final PDS releases in next few months will resolve things...
Anyways Cheerio.
