Hi,

I just wanted to bring this to your attention.

Take a look and make your opinion:

I'm not convinced but this really makes me think ...

It smells a lot of false video... Smile

The story seems so ridicolous... And that animation is very very easy to set up for an "imaging engineer"...

You could provide one of the hundreds of serious cases of last decades, maybe documented by thousands of people instead of that Brian's amazing adventure. Confused

Posting that story, you've just succeded in making skeptics even more closed and idiot.

Sorry, but it just doesn't seem realistic. The lights are too white, and the 'flickery' effect is too regular. And why the sudden cuts to new formations instead of showing how the craft made that new formation? Because it would be too much work to animate it, and the creator of this thing is lazy.

The narration during it is clearly fake, too, and what's with all the wind noise?

The best fraud would be one in which they had some sort of corroborating evidence, like radar imagery, and airline pilots, and lots of people who saw it, OH WAIT, THAT WOULDN'T BE FRAUD, IT WOULD BE AN ACTUAL EVENT.

And if you're going to do something fraudulent, why not make it something interesting, like aliens telling us big secrets, instead of just a few little pinpricks of light floating around.. Lazy, lazy, lazy.

I agree with OMG, in particularly he sums quite well when he says:
it just doesn't seem realistic

Anyway FMR moved this thread even if 3/5 of people think UFO (that is: unexplained cases of flying objects) EXIST INDEED, and are not all weather baloons or whatever else...
They are just unidentified.

FMR just wanted to appear ridicolous one more time.

To me it's the best footage of UFOs I have ever seen. I'm not convinced, but as I told you this looks really interesting to me.

Everything can be faked with considerable effort. That's very clear. But why would someone not fake something interesting instead, like aliens telling us big secrets, instead of just a few little pinpricks of light floating around.. ????

>Sorry, but it just doesn't seem realistic. >The lights are too white,

??? "too white" for what ?

>and the 'flickery' effect is too regular.

this only speaks for a connection between the lights. If they are "alien" this could be true !

>And why the sudden cuts to new formations >instead of showing how the craft made that >new formation? Because it would be too >much work to animate it, and the creator >of this thing is lazy.

He changed the camera from a tripod to "hand recording" he states.

>The narration during it is clearly fake,

Why ?

>too, and what's with all the wind noise?

Well the trees show there was a lot of wind.

>The best fraud would be one in which they >had some sort of corroborating evidence, >like radar imagery, and airline pilots, >and lots of people who saw it, OH WAIT, >THAT WOULDN'T BE FRAUD, IT WOULD BE AN >ACTUAL EVENT.

I think that is tru for a event in Belgium some time ago. (1989-...)

Because it's a game, and the game isn't about BIG. It's the small stories that gain the most circulation.

Oh, dear, I've done this twice now tonight (sorry FMR), but go here:

The Hoaxes, the Hoaxers, and the Hoaxed

where you'll read about little hoaxes. Nothing big. But the stories circulate.

There definitely have been 'UFO' events with very convincing evidence. This isn't one of them. No camera picks up light that purely consistently white, it's always tinted and non-uniform somehow.

You can believe it's real if you want, but I know it's a fake.

Skeptical; in my days as a teenager-amateur-astronomer, spending entire nights locating faint galaxies with my Uranometria and a cop of coffee I used to see quite a few things I don't have an explanation for. But they weren't any spectacular close-range hovering disks or anything, although I do live in Belgium Very Happy anyway, I have seen lots of things that can be attributed to satellites, high-flying birds in formation, jetfighters, ...
I saw a meteor once that covered a whopping 120°-140° one time, with a magnitude of about -2. Imagine was goes through the mind of a person who never even looks up when seeing something like that.
Back to Mars. If you see a ufo, please sell it to me so I can fly to Mars.
