Dawn's arrival has sparked a buzz in the ET community. The bright spots are still very interesting.

If they do not turn out to be a way station for lizard people, what are they?

Speculation would be subsurface or transferred material associated with the impactor. Most likely water ice has formed a central peak with nearby splash, yes I said splash. Ceres is mostly water ice. The rapid crater fills are spectacular.

Would be a nice place for a way station, just saying.....

...probably a phosphorescence meteor hit Ceres long ago.
