The HiRise image catalog has not been updated since May 29. Anyone know of a reason?

Thanks John.....HiRise updated finally after over a month. I bought a new puter and downloaded HiRise image viewer and now can explore at my hearts content. I purchased a larger monitor, but DO have a sizable plasma screen just feet away, perhaps I shall look into using it as a monitor for the giant jpeg2 images. The larger monitor and larger amount of memory has solved my prior problems viewing jpeg2 images and has made it a quite pleasant experience. Thank you.

Hopefully,,I too will be getting a better puter in a few months,,,,,,,,I found a six-foot usb cable that will go from my laptop to the larger plasma,,,,the laptop is junk but a place to d/load my beach pictures
and I DO take a Lot of pictures,,,I am something of a weirdo (not that it matters) to most of my friends and associates,,I am made this way by my totally un-filled,never-ending curiosity,,all things Science,,draws me like stink on s***,,,,,,,,,,,,,,currently I am staying busy by restoring old oscilloscopes,,love it,cant live without it,,,Church three times a week
but I have NO trouble keeping the two (science and Faith in God) separate,,,,why am i telling you all this??
I have no idea,,

John Henry....We are of the same ilk. I have a folder of science sites on favorites, as well as a space folder, and an archaeology folder. Have a news folder too. I've been looking at mars since scientists thought there were canals there. As for belief in God, I read that quite a few scientists have become deep believers DUE to science. It is all too beautiful to be an accident or mere happenstance. I've delivered enough babies and pulled enough calves to know miracles when I see them.

John,,,,sorry so long in answering,,,sometimes,
for maybe a week or longer,i cannot stand to be around a computer.I don't know why.

A lady loaned me a book titled,,Smith Wigglesworth,,truly I have never in my life seen anything like it,and I have been reading since I was five years old. Wow.

Yes I agree with you a hundred percent,,we are all miracles,,each of us different but alike,,,a human body so complicated that there is absolutely NO way that Life could be accidental,,,,Darwin is wrong, wrong, wrong,,

Are you the same John that lives in Florida?
If so it may be possible that we share a common friend,,,,I hesitate to give his name here on an open forum,,

Be Well,,John.....when we are gone there will never be another like either of us.

Don't know if it makes sense to you,but each of us in our own way is a 'singularity"
(an event?)

As you have probably noticed at times, the HiRISE site has ongoing problems of a technical nature(coding), attacks, etc., and the slow action may be due to maintenance as well.
I download all images as I can, when time avails. My equipment is under such attacks as to be damaged again currently, and routinely.
Try the Geomatica FreeView and other software trials at times. The detail is 3-4x what NASA releases in the free viewer provided. There is always a reserve of quality for the economics provided.
In some HiRISE images the resolution is 1-2 feet.
Resolving the 'new computer' issues here as well.
Amazing that 31,000 image numbers have been surpassed as of this year for that one satellite.
