As a tax payer who has contributed to the Mars Rover, I would appreciate a live video showing us the American people everything that is going on.

Transperency was once promised by our current President and is not in affect with this project. I understand the nature of this project may reveal some of the unkonwn, but we all should be in on it.

They should have a channel on national telivision dedicated to broadcast live. Children and adults would be more motivated to learn about Science and Math if there were more advertising and broadcasting of the project!

And,

"Visit My New Home With Fossils And Fungoid Type Shapes - There's A Lot To See"
.

.

.

Altered, and at 2x size, clear small fossil pattern, fungoid shapes, tubules, translucent irregular shape, and a spheroidal dark shape with a bright raised pattern.

What credits are due for the original source video?
This was simply a capture.

I can't get an audio channel open on this video at the Ustream link.

Are these apparent fossils or other mineral objects truly what they appear to be?

MAHLI camera images, from Malin(MSSS)?

I neglected to mention that this image was captured at 7 minutes into the movie and appears at several times during the 50+ minutes.

So pleased with Barsoomer for giving the link for viewing.

What are the statistics for fossil versus mineral, and for living versus mineral in the new exploration area Gale crater?

Perhaps it's time for a blog poll?

A JPEG here, and the prior post was a PNG, with an original to follow lacking the altered subframe selections.
