First we need to clear up who, “I,” is. The I that you think you are can do nothing because it is nothing. It is simply an, “idea,” of yours, or, the real, “I.” You are a being. You see yourself as fragmented. Being perfect each part of you is whole. The Ego is legion, the spirit is one. Being created in the likeness of the Father, you make out of need. All you see in front of your face you made. God did not make the body. You did. You wanted to perceive and you needed something to perceive with.
Fred, I am possible agreement with your philosophy. Am I here in this INSTANT only? However. I have found many sets of bones during archeological digs that beg the question. I think they were here long before WE were here. I've excavated their dwellings, graves and midden heaps. I'm HERE in time, they were THERE in their time. Do you ever think of THEM? They LIVED, raised crops, hunted, had SEX, reared young, lived and died. What about the people that will dwell on your "property" when you are just "coffin liquor" one hundred years from now? Will you be REAL to them?
Time is an illusion. The Holy instant is the physical reflection of eternity. The past never was. In eternity everything happens at one time. Like a big bang. The bones you saw were yours. God only has one Son.
...religion, the killer of thought-therefore mankind...dx-12-03-2010-MRB
I assure you Jesus was no fan of religion. Religion is a projection of fear and retribution onto God. All thought is of God. If you were not a Mind, you could not think at all. If you use the power of thought to decipher illusion, you are not really thinking at all.
