I have added a new feature that many have asked for. Long threads are now broken up into 20 replies per page. At the bottom of each discussion page, if there are additional replies, you will see a link for the "next page".
I plan on enhacing this further in the future, with pages numbers and direct links to each page.
Let me know what you think. Is 20 a good number per page?
Regards,
Mark

Thanks Mark
20 sounds good. This will be a real help for those on dial up.

Um, Did you change alot of stuff cause I just got this error when I tried to post a pic:
An error occurred:
Rebuild failed: Build error in template 'Forum Index -New': Error in tag: You used an 'MTEntryCategories' tag outside of the context of an entry; perhaps you mistakenly placed it outside of an 'MTEntries' container? |

All is Well. Thanks.
Could you put the next pagge button at the top of the screen also? So we don't have to scroll all the way down the screen just to get to the next page.
Thanks.

Do you think it would be a good idea to put the most recent page first? |

Marklar, you beat me to it !
Yes, I have added page numbers with links, that also show in the the forum list views, so you can jump directly to any page from the list.
Let me know if you find any bugs.... |

Not a bug....
but the additional pages don't remember the name or email address when you go to post. |

I noticed that too. You may have to click the "remember personal info?" again, hopefully only once (I am testing with this post). |

The "Go To Page" function is a big improvement.
A big "thumbs up" to Mark Carey for this!

The test seems to have worked.
To get it to remember your posting name and other info, you probably have to reply at least once from the subsequent pages (2,3,4...), checking the "remember personal info", and after that, it should remember your info everywhere. Let me know if you see any recurring issues here. (I definitely want to make sure that people don't have to type that in every time...) |

Mark, this is just a suggestion. If we click on a page number, of course, we get that page. For those of us that have broadband, it is actually more convienient to get the whole thread at once. What if clicking on the title as opposed to a page number gave us the whole page? |
